I am very glad to say that the presentation of the ’sketching in space’ project was a great success. All the participating students made the presentation look and feel good for both sides: the presenters and the audience. The models of the threedimanional virtually made sketches had been printed via three different rapid prototyping techniques (sls, fdm, 3D-print). As allready stated, this project can be seen as a reply to the 2 year old viral video of the swedish design team front. Instead of faking the sketching process by just waving trackers, we used the 3d sketch application to see the virtually drawn stroke in realtime floating in space. What we did the same as front, is to get the sketches back to world and put them in a furniture context. The objects will be seen again while the dmy festival in berlin.
