Please feel invited to join the presentation of the last semesters short term project at the college of fine arts berlin, which has been realized in collaboration with the Fraunhofer Institute Berlin. In two projectgroups the students had to sketch a lamp shade for a pendant light completely in the virtual environment of a CAVE. For refining lines and surfaces of the designs we used Rhino4. The lampshades have been printed via rapidprototyping techniques and will be the core elements of the presentation. A paper will be published soon about the related processes of ideation and selfreflections.
