Here are some Photos of the international snowcarving competition in San Candido and San Virgilio. I was taking part as Team Germany with Aron Rauschhardt (Captain) and Alexander Jentsch.
While six days we had to carve two pieces out of each 3×3x3 sqm snowblocks.
We have to say thank you to the organisators in San Candido and San Virgilio, especially Hannah and Edmund. Further we have to pay a lot respect and be thankful to Don, Gisli and Mike from team Canada for helping us out with tools, knowledge and so much inspiration!!! And the other Teams, that made it an unforgetable trip!
Our first sculpture named “Arschbombe” caught right in progress in San Candido.
Two of our mainly used tools while the rough work. Barbed Wire and Forst Bräu.
Don and Gisli of team Canada and Joey of team Singapore while the wine tasting session.
Final image of our sculpture. while this night it started raining and melting so there wasn´t much left the next day.
Final image of our second scuulpture named “Dung beetles” in San Virgilio.
